Our Beliefs
We believe in grace. John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
We believe in salvation. Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
We believe in faith.
Romans 10:17, Hebrews 11:6
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
We believe in discipleship. Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
We believe in being baptized. Mark 16:15-16
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
We believe the Bible is the inspired
Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
We believe in One God eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19
Hear, O Israel: The Lord, our God, is one Lord.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
We believe in the deity of Christ Jesus Our Lord and Savior. Titus 2:13-14
Looking for the blessed hope, and the appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify to Himself a special people, zealous of good works.
We believe in the virgin birth. Matthew 1:18
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was this way (for His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph) before they came together, she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Matthew28:6
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
We believe in Christ's ascension and pending return. Mark 16:19, Acts 1:11
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
As you can see, our beliefs are rooted and founded in God and His Word, and when we have questions we look to the Word to find our answers.
If you by chance have not accepted
Jesus Christ as you personal Savior,
I invite you to accept Him as Lord and Savior of your life.
Love, Mrs. P
