Your
Comfort Was Still Greater By Far
Lord, I never dreamed
life could be so hard
for there are many trials
I've had to face.
But I also had no clue
the things I could do
because of You and your
immeasurable grace.
And Lord, I'm so glad
I've never known the future
for that knowledge is
better kept in Your hand.
It is truly much better
to live a-day-at-a-time
through those valleys I
don't understand.
As hard as life gets...I
can still say the heartaches
were the things that
taught my soul to sing.
For they drew me ever
closer to the preciousness
of You and reassured me I
was under Your wing.
All the hard things of
life have truly served a purpose...to drive my heart from
the things of this earth. For no trial can compare
to the promises of eternity and all the glory your
Presence is worth.
Had I never climbed these
mountains, I would have never known how much
strength You alone can supply. For your sweet, Holy
Spirit put the wind in my steps to pick me up when I was
broken and dry.
I shall not be bitter for
the things You've allowed
for you've shown me just
how wonderful You are.
And for each season of
suffering, sorrow or pain
...Your comfort was still
greater by far.
Amen

And not only that, but we
also glory in tribulations,
knowing that tribulation
produces perseverance,
and perseverance,
character; and character, hope.
Now hope does not
disappoint, because the
love of God has been
poured out in our hearts
by the Holy Spirit who
was given to us.

A
Personal Note From Me
Here is a good idea to
ponder at the
end of each day. Instead
of pitying
ourselves, have we
reached out to others?
Thank God, that we know
Jesus as our
personal Savior. Many
people have
no hope, or anyone to
turn to......
Will you be willing to be
the person they
can turn to? God is
looking for someone to
reach out to others. Will
you be that person
today, to answer that
call?

"At
Days End"
Is anybody happier because you passed his
way??
Does anyone remember that you spoke to him
today
The day is almost over and its toiling time is
through,
Is there anyone to utter now, a kindly word of
you?
Can you say tonight, in parting with the day
that's
slipping fast That you helped a single brother
of the
Is a single heart rejoicing over what you did
or said?
Does the man whose hopes were fading, now with
courage look ahead?
Did you waste the day or lose it,? Was it
well, or
sorely spent? Did you leave a trail of
kindness, or
a scar of discontent? As you close your eyes
to
slumber, do you think that God will say,
You have earned one more tomorrow, by the
work you did today?

I will
say of the Lord, He is my refuge and
My fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.
Psalm 91;2
When you pass through the waters, I will be
with you; And when you pass through the
rivers, they will Not sweep over you. When
you walk through the fire, You will not be
burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
For I am the LORD, your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior-
